BCS believes in making an active, positive difference in our local community. Therefore, we actively support the efforts of the City of Hope and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. We do so by donating a portion of all proceeds of our compatible laser cartridge sales and offering up our personal time to these organizations.

About Children’s Hospital Los Angeles

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is a nonprofit pediatric healthcare organization dedicated to creating hope and building healthier futures for children. Founded in 1901, CHLA is one of the nation’s leading

children’s hospitals and is acknowledged worldwide for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health. CHLA is one of only 11 children’s hospitals in the nation—and the top-ranked pediatric facility in California—to be named to the prestigious U.S. News & World Report Honor Roll for 2016-17.

CHLA helps children at more than 528,000 patient visits a year, and performs more than 16,200 pediatric surgeries annually, including more complex surgical procedures than any other hospital in Southern California. Established in 1992, The Saban Research Institute of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is one of the few freestanding pediatric research institutes where scientific inquiry is combined with clinical care devoted exclusively to children. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is also a premier teaching hospital and has been affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California since 1932.

As a pediatric charity of choice, the hospital relies on the generosity of the community to support its groundbreaking pediatric research and the complex care it provides for critically ill and injured children.
