You don’t have to visit Venice or Vegas to enjoy a romantic gondola ride. Gondola Adventures, Inc. offers romantic Gondola rides throughout the Newport Beach Harbor. This gondola experience is the most authentic one in Orange County.  Choose between wedding gondolas), and neo-venetian (electric motor) gondolas. Add to the romantic scenery with a gondolier to sing. You can also add rose pedals or custom chocolates to your package. The gondola rides start on the West Coast Highway across the street from Sterling BMW in Newport Beach.

Located approximately 22 miles off of the coast, Catalina Island offers serene beaches, shops, and unique architecture. Visit The Catalina Island Casino for a museum about the history of Catalina Island or watch a movie inside the 1,184-seat theatre. If you’re more into finding an Oasis, walk down to Descanso Beach and enjoy the sun, sand, and sea.

This legendary Studio City restaurant is one of the best spots for Valentine’s Day dinner.  For $95 a person, enjoy a special three course meal with decadent appetizers, entrees and desert. For those who prefer dinner “al fresco,” there is an outdoor patio with plenty of trees for an intimate dinner. If you sit indoors, try to sit in the library (image above). The restaurant opens for dinner at 5 p.m.
